We’ve updated the Triggers lens focused mini-lessons (for grades 4-5 and 6-8) to include an activity that uses Michael Rex’s picture book Facts VS Opinions VS Robots to a) help Digital Detectives understand (or be reminded of) the difference between facts and opinions AND b) support their understanding of how emotions can be used to affect our ability to tell the difference between the two! We believe this new mini-lesson could easily be adapted for an HS audience.

Follow the clues to the Evidence Locker >>> Chapter 1 >>> Mini-lessons for grades 4-5 OR 6-8 >>>Mini-Lesson #5 (in grades 4-5) OR Mini-Lesson #6 (in grades 6-8)
